Book Tour

Unsurprisingly, given the current pandemic, my six-week US book tour for May/June has been cancelled. I am hoping that I will be able to reschedule in-person events in bookstores once the world is a safer place.

In the meantime, I will be doing plenty of live online events. I know many bookstores are still scrambling to sort out the kind of online events they can do, so I don't have all of the dates for these events yet. I will be posting them as they are confirmed.

If you would like me to do an event with your bookstore, library, university, high school, book group, or other organization, please contact my publicist at Viking, Rebecca Marsh at rmarsh@penguinrandomhouse.com.

At the moment, below are the dates that are already scheduled:

Stay tuned for more events!

Health and sanity to you all!

TAKING FROM LIFE with Suzanne Leal + Jennifer Steil // Monday, June 1, 6 - 7pm

Don’t miss this two-way conversation between two writers on either ends of the globe, Suzanne Leal in Sydney and Jennifer Steil in London, talking about the strange parallels between their brand new novels, The Deceptions and Exile Music respectively. Both books talk about the Jewish experience in WWII, were inspired by the stories of real people and actual events and involve music. Of course, there’s a million differences as well - for one, Suzanne’s novel is set in Europe, where Jennifer’s takes place in Bolivia. Still, it seemed like a snap moment we simply had to explore!
